From Duplin County Court Minutes 1813 -"Upon motion ordered that Jesse GRIMES, Esq'r, Willis HINES, Alexander KEATON and Thomas WILSON be a Committee to lay off to Elizabeth GRADY one year's provisions of her deceased husband's Estate according to law and report to next Court". Is there any listmember researching/having knowledge of the John SHEFFIELD/SHUFFIELD family who can tell me if this Elizabeth GRADY is the one who later married John SHEFFIELD?
