Yes have been working on the CHARLES STEWART and HANNAH "JOANNA" KIRK line for around 30 years, my late husband was a descendant of JOSEPH STEWART and ELIZABETH MATTHEWS, JOSEPH being a son of CHARLES # 1 along with CHARLES # 2 GEORGE and JAMES, I lived in Benson NC for several years, but moved to Chester VA, in 1980 when my husband passed away, so that I could be close to my three sons , I have been somewhat lax in doing any genealogy of late, but did find out a couple of years back that my son's DNA matches a man who's ancestry goes back to Spotsylvania CO VA and previously Ireland earlier than 1747, where as it was thought by family genealogist that our CHARLES came from Scotland, and was in Wake Co NC by 1750, I have not put on the computer what work I have done, for one thing it would be a major enterprise, as I have approximately 7-10 4 inch loose leaf note books that I have filled, anyhow if I can be of help do not hesitate to contact me, and which one of the sons of CHARLES is your ancestor Joyce
