I have just recently been told that Wade at one time had a "theater"...The person who told me said that it was on what is now called "River Road". It is the mail street that goes from highway 301 to Fayetteville. Inside of Wade it is called Church Street I guess because it goes right in front of Bluff Presbyterian Church (not to be confused with Old Bluff Church).
