William WEST was enumerated by name for the first time on the Duplin census of 1840. He was enumerated on the Duplin census of 1850, not found on the HQ version of the Duplin census of 1860, and was enumerated on the Duplin census of 1870. Based on this preliminary search, I am concluding he lived out his life (at least most of it) in Duplin. William married Mary/Molsey Jane MURPHY. Can anyone please provide the date of marriage? Some of the children enumerated in their 1850 household were: Danl. J.; Mary J.; Nancy C.; Susan; and Wm. When did William die?
