Family lengend tells that Edna/Edney West LEE lived to be age 103. I am trying to verify this information. Here is what I can prove with census that unfortunately are all to often inaccurate: Obed Lee and family found Johnston Co., NC 1820 and 1830; Cumberland Co., NC 1840. In 1840 both Obed and wife Edna were age 50-60 making their birth years 1780-1790. Edney LEE 1850 Cumberland Co., NC age 55 living in household of Abel LEE, 66. According to this census Edney was born 1795. Who was Abel LEE? Will LEE researchers provide some information? Thanks.
