Elaine, This is of great help to me because I've been trying to sort out a number of Neill McNeills in Robeson and Cumberland. Do you know who they married? I'm particularly interested in Roderick McNeill. I recall seeing a beautiful but neglected house near Dundarrach in Hoke County, NC, that my mother said was Roderick McNeill's home. One of my best friends from Robeson descends from a Roderick McNeill but I can't recall what period his Roderick lived. It's gone now I believe. Is your source bible records, estates records, what?
