    3. Steve - Do I have a website for you! Before he passed away, Glenn McGugan, descendant of John and Margaret McNeill McGugan of Robeson Co., spent many months researching McNeills in that region of North Carolina. I was one of his contributors. He was an excellent and precise researcher. Glenn and I were cousins through the McGugans. He was a striking Scot when dressed in full Scottish regalia! The link to his research of Neill McNeills is: http://awtc.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi If you have a problem with the link, let me know. I believe I also saw Roderick's home in Hoke Co. Several years ago, the cousin I mentioned earlier and her husband drove me around the tri-county area to show me homes and cemeteries. Elaine McN C in DE -------Original Message------- From: Steve E. Do you know who they married? I'm particularly interested in Roderick McNeill. I recall seeing a beautiful but neglected house near Dundarrach in Hoke County, NC, that my mother said was Roderick McNeill's home. One of my best friends from Robeson descends from a Roderick McNeill but I can't recall what period his Roderick lived. It's gone now I believe. Is your source bible records, estates records, what? Thanks! Steve

    3. John, Sorry Glenn's website didn't work for you, but if you ever widen your scope, maybe it will help then. Hopefully, others on the list found it useful. 2. Blake Tyner
    3. For anyone interested in the Hubbards from Cumberland County I have set up a page on John Harold Hubbard (first one in NC) and a page on his wife Mary Talbot. My wife has taken his line back 9 generations(all that is in FamilyTree Maker currently) and her line goes back 31 generations. I hope this helps anyone working on this family. My wife has joined several organizations using this documentation: National Society Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America; National Society Sons and Daughters of the Pilgrims; National Society Magna Charta Dames; National Society Women Descendants Ancient & Honorable Artillery Co.; Order of Three Crusades 1096-1192 to name a few. If anyone would like more information please contact us. Blake Tyner
