    3. I enjoyed the list sent of the Argyll Colonists as printed in the Argyll Colony Plus. I already had it somewhere. My husband's ancestors were Neill, (Black) McNeill and Alexander McAlister. I find so many Neill McNeill's interesting but do not know how to tell them apart , or can anyone? I started a list of the many Neill McNeill's but cannot find it tonight. There were four on the Colonists list. There was Long Neill, Black Neill & Little Neill and just Neill. There was also a Bluff Neill and a Red Neill, that I can thihnk of offhand. How many others? 3. Along this same vein, can anyone identify the Neill McNeill who came to America, supposedly with two youngs sons "Sailor Hector" and "Shoemaker John" McNeill, around 1740 and came to live in Bladen County (his lands are now in Hoke and owned by McNeill descendants) around the 1760s?
