Hi Steve, Children of Neill and Marrion "Sarah" (McDougall) McNeill were: Isabella b 1814 Jura Argyllshire Scotland Margrate b 1817 Jura Argyllshire Scotland Roderick D b 1820 Cumberland Co NC John Duncan b 1822-24 Cumberland Co NC Jannet (twin) b 1822-24 Cumberland Co NC Anna b 1826 Cumberland Co NC All but Anna married. If they followed the Scottish naming pattern, Neill's parents were Roderick and Margrate; Marrion's were John and Isabella. I suspect that Margaret McNeill b 1754 Scotland, wife of John McGugan, whose family emigrated from N Knapdale Argyllshire to Robeson Co, was my Neill's father's sister.
