I am president of the Cumberland County Gen Soc and can say that we have not done a Heritage Book. Many people have used a book, "The History of Fayetteville" by John Oates to find articles on families and organizations. The Womans Club of Fayetteville had had it reprinted years ago. I don't know if there might be any copies of it running around. I do have a copy and could do look-ups in it. There have also been books published that have deeds information, early court information (The Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions) and cemetery inventories. I would love to buy a copy if there is.
