Hi, I'm hoping someone may be able to shed some light on my great grandfather and his family. HIs name was Edward Benjamin Ward and he was married to Annie Beulah Byrum. He was born Nov. 4th, 1874 and died in a dynamite accident (he was a farmer and was removing a tree stump) when my grandmother was 7 years old in 1928. My grandmother does not know anything about his family except that he had a brother named Joseph and two sisters who may have lived in Chowan County. During his married life he lived in GAtes County (in or around Corapeake NC) but my grandmother believes that he may have originally been from Chowan County (which makes sense since she says his siblings lived there). Any help or info on Edward's parents or siblings would be so appreciated! Thanks, Susan in MA
