He married Jane Proctor in 1848 in Perquimans Co., NC, and I have only been able to find him in the Perquimans 1850 Census. They had two children that I know of, William (born abt. 1849) and Adeline (born abt 1863). I am trying to find Alexander's parents and if he might have had other children.
