I find the names of Lewis and Moses Ward in the 1787 Chowan County census. I descend from a Lewis Ward (born ca. 1810 in N.C.) who migrated to Thomas Co., Ga. with a brother named Jesse. Lewis named a son Moses. The similar names are too much to overlook. Does anyone out there have knowledge of these names? Please help.
