    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Foreman/Forman, Rascoe/Ravcoe, Burnett Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EVB.2ACI/921.1.1 Message Board Post: Thank you SO MUCH for this legal document that you posted. This Benjamin Foreman must a son/grandson of the above Foreman, benj. on the 1717 Tax Lists. I have a Benj Foreman who married an Elizabeth Parker about 1770 at Fishing Creek, Edgecomb, NC and possibly be in the second generation. Joseph is a name that is used quite a bit in the Edward Foreman family that I am researching. There is also an Edward Foreman mentioned in a Will for 1762 in Halifax Co. for Wm. Everitt with the Burnett name mentioned. Mary Burnett was Edw. second wife, his first being Rebecca Rascoe/Rascoe/Roscow/Ravcoe. I am trying to gather all the Foreman clan for this time period in/around the area. Edward was said to have been a Ship's Master and born in VA and eventually(in 1770's) went to Spanish LA and thence to St. Landry Parish where he died ca. 1805. So every little bit of information is greatly appreciated.
