She and her husband lived there from about 1944 until their deaths. She wrote most of her books from Bandon Plantation and I have just finished reading "Pay, Pack and Follow". Her husband's mother was a "Hay" and I have much research on that part of the family but have not had a lot of luck with the Fletcher side. Thanks.
