A search of >> You might wish to try Tina Hall's site on the web. She took over the site once kept by Henry Lee King. I believe it was called "King Crossroads." At her site, the previously conjoint site "King Crossroads" that Henry Lee King at one time kept with Lou Pero, has stored records on several King lines, among which, the early King families of the Chowan-Gates area of NC. It would be improbable that a line carried down to the Civil War & beyond would exist there, but I cannot and wouldn't discount it. Certainly, many of the lines are carried forward in great detail.
