Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NC/Chowan/758 Surname: King, Smallwood ------------------------- Looking for any information regarding my gr grandfather Joseph Henry king who was born in the Indian Woods during the 1860's and resided in Edenton in Chowan Co from the early 1920's until his death in the early 1940's. A search of the death records at the courthouse produced no certificate even though he died there and is buried at Vine Oaks Cemetery. He and his family resided on E Gale Street across from his church, Kadesh AME Zion Church. He and his wife Hattie Raulhac worked at the Edenton Mill. Any vital on him would be appreciated.
