Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NC/Chowan/875 Surname: Blanchard, Fryer, Blount, Mizell, Everett ------------------------- In the North Carolina State Papers, in the 1700's, is a protest by the Chowan Indians against a Blanchard with whom they shared a boundry line. I am descended from one of those Blanchards and we have pictoral proof that there is Indian blood in her grandchildren. As she was married cir 1778, we have no pictures of her. Believe pictoral records were begun cir 1850. Hope someone with more knowledge will respond. Barbara
