In particular, I need to find one Vinson Jones who may have been the son of the above William. The Jones and Vinson families were connected in some way in Brunswick and Surry counties in Virginia. Vinson Jones moved west and settled eventually in what is now Alleghany County, North Carolina on the South Fork of the New River. He named his first son William.
