I am looking for the family of one Vinson Jones in particular. I believe the Jones and Vinson families came to Chowan from Brunswick County, Virginia. William, Thomas, Peter, Isaac are given names found associated with my Joneses. I have found records of William Jones in the Shaftesbury and Chowan Precincts as well as in Chowan County.
