Hello Nathan and Group, Saw your post on SKEETO, you wrote: I'm searching for the Odom family (headed by Richard Odom who arrived in Chowan Precinct abt 1700 from Nansemond Co., VA and died leaving a will in 1728 in Chowan County), and also for Edward Sketoe, who was named on the 1753 tax list of Chowan Co., NC, and a Joseph Skittoe, his possible relative, who bought land from Jacob Odom, son of the above Richard Odom in 1748. Also I am searching for John Stringer (b ca 1710's or 1720's) who lived in Chowan Co., NC before living in Edgecombe Co., NC in the Revolutionary War era.
