Finally, a Cox descendant! I am looking forward to hearing from you. I do know that after John Cox died in 1856, my ancestors(at least the mother and her children-Betty/Harry, Tatty, Will and Eden) were petitioned for in the courts, by Cox's granddaughter-Ann C. Page, I believe, and her husband, John C. Page. After that, I don't know what happened to them during the war. Hope you have some info!
