Hello, I am trying to find the location of A plantation in Chowan county. I am a graduate student attending East Carolina University. I am working on a slave narrative written by a man who was owned by the Parker family. Peter Parker was his master. Peter was married to an Elizabeth Skinner. They had a daughter Annie born in 1838. The slave mentions several families in the area that he was hired out to. WHITE< BUCK< COFELL<FELTON<SMALL<LITTLEFIELD...are some of them.
