Hello all, I am writing to the list to let you know that Yahoo has changed their webrings. My homepage has been listed with them so in order to keep my site active, I had to transfer to their new process. While looking, I noticed under genealogy, they had no sites listed for NC. He is listed on the 1850 census in Perquimans (Yeopim) as married to Harriet (Powell), age 29, and his mother-in-law is also listed living there - Mary Powell (age 47). These Powells may have originated in Chowan County. Mary Powell would have been born in approx. 1803 and her daughter Harriet (or Pollie as she may have been called) was born approx. 1821. He married Margaret Humphreys on 11/12/1803 in Chowan County, NC. His son Moses Wilson Webb, Jr. was my gg-grandfather. Moses, Jr., is the only child I know of.
