David and Anita, I am so excited to have found you.....I am related to John Timpson and Lucy Smith. I would love to have any info on Lucy and her ancestors you may have. Do you have any stories.....PHotos? I am coming out to Murphy, NC on Thurs.....this week and visiting the courthouse, museum....library...I am sure you have been there. I wish I could visit with you. Her name was Sarah......but she went by Lucy? Was she Cherokee? Full blood? I saw Nimrod....Chief...in the Census....but, couldn't fiqure it out. The John Smith in the 1835 census that lives near her and John Timpson.....was her dad? John Smith lived in Big Creek...then right? How much Cherokee were John and Sarah SMith? I am so excited.....I have done a lot of work on the Timpson's......I would be glad to share what I have. I could print out my chart....for you. If we could see each other...I would give it to you.
