    3. Have you ever wondered what an estate sale and auction would have been like in SE TN in the 1880s? Are you curious to see the inventory of a farm and a household in neighboring Monroe County, TN in 1888? Did your ancestors attend the sale at the old farmhouse in the nearby mountains, bid on some items, and become listed as buyers? If yes to any of these questions, then this link is FOR YOU! I've just typed and uploaded a new link to my website "Kinfolks in the Knobs." It's "The Inventory and Estate Sale of David and Adeline (Caldwell) Cunningham" from Monroe CO, TN Chancery Court Records of 1888 - 1890. I transcribed it from microfilmed records in 1985. The link may be accessed from the index page by clicking on "The Old Home Places (Surnames A - L);" then from that link, click on David & Adeline (Caldwell) Cunningham. Also, you can simply copy and paste the direct address below into the go box. The URL is http://www.genweb.net/kinfolksintheknobs/cunnestate.html Also, three additional family groups have been added to "The Old Home Places" link. If you can help to decipher any of the illegible words listed, please email me. Hope you'll read with a thimbleful of imagination and enjoy it as much as I do! Sandra Ratledge
