Hi Frankie, I answered your post and someone else did too, I don't know which one you lost, but I will answer it again. I told you about a James L. Jordan, 1857-1924, who married Ella Postell, 1882-1937. Their son, Mac Jordan, married Vinnie L., she died giving birth to twins, one of which, lived, they had other children also, before the birth of the twins. Vinnie was a Woody, my daddy, Thomas James Woody's sister. Elisha Woody and Mary Elaine Stover was their parents, Tobias Woody, b. Feb. 11, 1805 d. Aug. 8, 1897, and Lourany Lunsford, born 1846 died 1915, was Elisha's parents. There are still many Jordans living in Cherokee Co. NC.
