Surnames: PRITCHARDS/ PHILLIPS Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/SSB.2ACE/457.1287.1316.1320.1437.1.1 Message Board Post: Jenny is the sister of my Grandma Mary Cornelia Phillips Pritchard on My Daddy side of the family.My Mom was a Pritchard and married a Pritchard.I have Pritchard relatives on both sides.In the 1910 census Jenny is living with Grandpa Richard Phillips on Uppercreek in the Uppercreek Township of Burke County,Morganton,N.C.Jenny is listed under the Phillips name with three of her children.,Elija,Lettie,and Elsie.Grandma Elizabeth Phillips, Jenny's Mama died in apr.28,1907.Jenny could have moved back to take care of her dad he was 81yrs,old at the time of this census.Jenny had a lot of sisters and one brother that I know of.Leander Pritchard is a cousin of Rufus Pritchard.Rufus is my G-Granpa on my dads side,I was in hopes of finding out who Leanders parents were.When Alfred Pritchard was married to Besty, my G-G- Grandpa Buckner Pritchard was a witness.I have listed as Buckners parents as James and Mary Jennings Pritchard.I do not know for sure who Alfred Pritchards dad ! is.I do have a land paper on Alfred and it appears his land was on Steel Creek.Steel Creek is on the left hand side of 181 hwy.and uppercreek is on the right hand side of 181 going up the mountain,just above Steel Creek Park in Burke County.Let me know if I can help.Margaret Pritchard Clark
