He was born 20 Dec 1859 in Catawba County, NC. and died 30 May 1938 also in Catawvba County. He is buried at St. Peters Lutheran Church. His father was Daniel J. Little and mother was Catherine Moser Bowman. He was married to Emma Cadance Fox in addition to Sally Belle Huffman. Emma was born 16 Nov 1862 in Catawba Co. and died 7 Jun 1945. She is also buried at St. Peters. They had the following 8 children all born in Catawba County: Marshall Vance, born 4 Aug 1890 died 16 Feb 1949; Earl Burette born 4 May 1891 died 4 May 1891(probably stillborn); Eddie Clarence born 21 Jul 1892 died 4 Aug 1912; Winnie Mae born 17 May 1895 died 14 Oct 1988 (m. Arthur C. Little); Bessie Ola born 11 Jul 1897 no dod (m. Acey Ralph Stafford); Charlie Wilburn born 8 Jan 1900 died 17 Feb 1982 (m. Grace Gantt); Alice Anne born 12 May 1902 no dod (m. George Raymond Pope); Roy Quintus born 16 Apr 1905 died 21 Dec 1989 (m. Anne Mae Bolick).
