There is a Deal Book in Alexander Co., and Catawba Co., Library on the Deal Family by Rom Deal written about 1939. When I was back there in 1993 or 1995, it had a reprint by I think the Taylorsville Times, giving the history up to the time of the printing of the book. Betty
