Some time ago I received a listing of Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Denver, Lincoln County, NC. The listing was done by a Mr.Terry Waldrop of the Gaston County Genealogical Society in 1990 and I do not remember who I got it from. For a long long time I hoped for some way to make it available to all the other Lincoln and Catawaba County, North Carolina researchers I had come in contact with over the years. As it turned out, all I had to do is ask. I contacted Mr William (Bill) Floyd who has published many cemetery listings online and he assured me he would be publish my transcription given the proper copyright premission. I then contacted Mr. Waldrop and he graciously granted that permission. I finally finished transcribing it along with a shade of embellishment from my own personal records and it was published by Bill Floyd on January 01, 2006 at : http://www.rfci.net/wdfloyd/bethellc.html I encourage you to have a look at this document. Especially if your roots are in Lincoln or Catawba County and any of the names you are researching include: Barkley, Brotherton, Caldwell, Dellinger, Gabriel, Hager, Harwell,Howard, Killian, King, Linebarger, Little, Lowe, Munday-Mundy, McCaul,Proctor, Sherrill, Shelton, Sigmon, Smith, Thompson, or Wagoner.
