My gmother was Mary Jane Newton Hastings born 3-7-1876 in Cleveland County, NC. Married John Hastings and she moved to Newton, N.C. where she lived until her death. She lived on the Hastings Farm Road between Newton and Startown, NC. Children: Verna Lingerfelt, Lona Bolin, Fred, Amos, Jack (Onzie), Blanche Parents: Captain John and Jemima Newton I am researching the Newton and Hastings family. Would appreciate any help!!!!!
