Wylene - From the book "German Speaking People West of The Catawba River in North Carolina 1750-1800", by Lorena Shell Eaker, 1994, "JACOB FULBRIGHT , b.22 Dec 1747 Northampton Co., PA, d. after 2 Jan 1848 Haywood Co., NC, no wife's name found. One source says he m. Barbara Plunket and d. 19 Jul 1844 but there is a conflict of dates. RWP #R3826, filed 2 Jan 1848 gives his birthplace and date and says he moved to Lincoln Co., NC 1769. He appears in Lincoln Co., NC land records many times. 1790 census shows him with six sons and three daughters." and then this: "JOHANN JACOB SHOOK, b.19 Apr 1749 Northampton Co., PA, d.1 Sep 1839 Haywood County, NC, m. 1786 Isabella Weitzell. 1790 Buncombe Co., NC census: 6 males under age 16, 1 male over age 16, 3 famles. RWP #S7486 - Lived in Lincoln Co., NC during the war and then to Buncombe Co. and Haywood Co. Applied for pension 3 Oct 1833; m. Isabel Wizel (Weitzell). He served under Capt.
