Gantt (I did not know his parents, but will take Willis and Nancy Gantt) b abt 1844, m 8 Aug 1870, Catawba Co NC Mary Adeline "Polly" Wike, 5th child of Miles and Sarah Setzer Wike, b 11 Aug 1855, Catawba Co NC, but died soon after her marriage, 6 Aug 1871, perhaps in childbirth. She is bur at St. James Lutheran Church, Newton, Catawba Co NC. John J. Gantt m 2 on 25 May 1876 Elizabeth Lee. We have no futher information on her. Polly's last brother, Jacob, child 9, b 1867, just a few years before her death, is my grandfather. Monte Wike
