Does anyone have information on a fire that occurred around 1942 at the Carolina Mills plant in Maiden? My late (over 20 years) grandfather was badly burned in the fire but continued to work there until his retirement in the 1960's. Any info would be appreciated. Cynthia Bolick Gilbert
