Has anyone come across the word PHOPLEXY in their research of death certificates? I found this word on my great-great grandfather's death certificate dated March 9, 1932. My gggrandfather was Henry Jaconias Bolick. His doctor was W. F. Klutz of Maiden. There was no autopsy. Whatever this ailment was the certificate stated that it started in 1928. Dr. Klutz attended to him from 1928-1932. I've looked in medical dictionaries both modern and archaic, and I've done a Google search. Thanks for any help anyone can give. Cynthia Bolick Gilbert
