Hi all, I have seen "At the Foot of the Lake: The Pattillo-Patillo Family and Allied Lines," by M.Q. Plumblee used as a reference many times, but have been unable to locate it until recently. I finally tracked it down, purchased it and received it this week. The author, Mr. Plumblee, died in 1987 before the book was published. He lived in Caswell Co. for 50 years and was active in many historical endeavors. It was published by and is being sold privately by his 88 yr. old widow and son, Gordon Plumblee. I thought I would pass on the information on how to get it since I had a hard time finding it myself. It is a great book if you are in one of these families.
