On the 2nd day of September, 1803 ALEXANDER LYON (the father of Jacob Lyon) and his two brothers, Thomas Lyon and James Lyon came together to settle the estate of their father, William Lyon who died in May, 1802. Their mother, Elizabeth Lyon, was livinmg at the time on the land in Culpepper County. ALEXANDER LYON was then living IN CASWELL COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA and his two brothers were still living in Culpepper County, Virginbia.
