Thanks for any help. ***James Woods s/o Samuel and Mary is my g-g-g-grandfather. I know from the grave marker (1896) of his son Romulus Yancy Woods that James was married to Elenor Brown. I have not found a marriage bond. This grave is in Greene (now Hale) Co., AL where James' will was filed. He sold his Caswell Co. property and followed sons Romulus and Robert W. (my g-g-grandfather) to AL and died in 1856. Another son Williamson B. was there with Romulus in the 1850 census. Sisters Sarah Ann Fitzgerald and Mary Jane Levina Morgan remained in N.C. and Williamson also returned. Shelley W. Gregory
