Diane in AL, It's a stretch, but I have an Alexander GRAY II b:1766 married ~1790 Mary WARREN. Alexander is from Halifax Co., VA; on tax rolls there in 1795. Moved to Burke Co., NC; listed as a juror in 1799 and on census of 1800. The only info I have on Mary WARREN is that she was born ~1774. The Gray family lived right on the border between VA and NC (their property literally abutted NC). I don't know where this is in relation to Caswell Co.
