    1. Alexander Woods - Mary Robinson [NC circa 1800]
    2. Brett Woods
    3. Looking for information on an Alexander Woods who married a Mary Robinson (this might be Robison). They supposedly had five sons and one daughter. The only one I've found reference to is a John Woods (1795-1852) who married a Sarah Ann Lynch. There is an Alexander Woods on the 1840 Orange County NC Census, however I am unsure if it is the same individual, or perhaps one of Alexander and Mary's other unknown sons. My great-great-grandfather Henry J Woods (b. NC 1826) named his first daughter "Lynch," according to the 1860 Spartanburg County SC Census. As this appears to be an unusual first name for a daughter, I feel there may be a real possibility that I have finally narrowed the field, and that Henry could be the son of John Woods and Sarah Ann Lynch. In addition to the above questions, I would be particularly interested in determining who Alexander's parents might be. Thanks again for any help or suggestions in sorting out this family Brett F.
