John Boswell Davis was born in 1756 in MD. According to his pension application, he moved as a young child with his family from Prince George's Co to what was then Orange Co NC. He married ca 1784. I have been told he married a Sarah Hill. I do not have or know what the proof was for her name. However, one of his grandsons was named Matthew Hill Davis. Do we have anyone on the list working the Hill family in Caswell/Orange Co? Does anyone know of a connection between the Davis family and the Hill family? Thanks for any help!
