Hello, I'm new to the Caswell list. We're seeking information on Andrew HARVEY aka HARWELL, b: c1756 Scotland, came to America with parents prior to 1776 and evidently lived with Col. David Mason in Sussex Co. VA prior to the American Revolution. Enlisted and served in the VA line, according to his Rev. War Pension Application, under the name of HARWELL. States that he married in Caswell Co. NC, probably between 1777 and 1784. We don't know if he married under the name of Andrew HARVEY or HARWELL. His middle initial may have been J.
