Jim, I don't know if these Walkers will match up or not, but here goes. My ancestors were Leonard and Sarah Kimbrough Brown. They had a Thomas Brown who married Salley Morris on 15-Dec-1795. Thomas and Salley had a son Nathan Brown b. 22-Feb-1809 d. 19-Aug-1888 who married Mary Walker b. ca 1817 d. 22-Sep-1847. Mary was the daughter of Hugh and Frances Walker. Nathan and Mary had one daughter Sarah F. Brown b. ca 1844 d. bef 1890 who supposedly married William Walker. I can't verify this last marriage, but am pretty confident of the Nathan and Mary Walker marriage. After Thomas died, there was a lengthy estate settlement that involved many Caswell County surnames. I have copied of old papers re: the settlement. I really don't think this group was anywhere near Moon's Creek. But, a Brown may have married a Walker from that area. Wish I could tell you more!
