Mary Ann Elizabeth Styles was the daughter of Wesley Styles and Hester J. Ray, not Elizabeth Ann Ray.Wesley and Hester were married. As for Mary Ann Elizabeth Styles, she married a Brown who was named Stonewall Jackson Brown, and he was born in Yancey County 1869. His father was Andrew Jackson Brown, born 1837, killed 1870 in Burnsville... was cut to pieces in a two-on-one fight by Montreville Ray and his brother Samuel Paul Ray after they got into a fight about the Civil War (Montreville and Samuel were Union, Andrew was Confederate). Andrew Jackson Brown was married to Rachel Allen. I don't know who Andrew Jackson Brown's parents were. Wesley Styles was a brother of my gg-grandmother, Michal Styles. Good luck in your hunt.
