I wanted to let everyone know we are about to completely redo the Caswell Co. GenWeb page and I wanted to ask if anyone has ANYTHING they would be willing to share, we would love to have it. The Caswell Co. page has been neglected for some time and I would really like to make it a useful resource once again. I will start posting all the Caswell Co. marriage bonds - probably later today, along with a new home page. Over the next couple of weeks, I hope to also get the 1880 Census transcribed and moved over. I am lucky to presently be living in Houston, Tx. where we have a great genealogy library so I should be able to transcribed many records in the coming weeks and months. Among things I would REALLY like to have now are early photos of Yanceyville and surrounding countryside. If anyone has a photo of an old tobacco barn, I would like to have it also. I love some of the old tobacco barns and they are becoming rare. Thanks for anything you may be in a position to share. Let me know if I can help anyone. I am not from Caswell Co. but was raised right across the line in Alamance Co. so I do not know all the Caswell families as I do those in surrounding counties so I need all the help I can get. One more thing, does anyone know how I can contact someone with the Caswell Co. Historical Society. I want to buy a copy of the books they may have an get permission from them to do individual lookups.
