I am searching for David Moore who married Margaret Shearman who was born and raised in Caswell Co., NC There is record of her sisters marrying, but no record of hers. Margaret's father died 1795, and her mother and most of her family were in Russell Co., VA by 1797, but no record of David Moore and Margaret Shearman there. My David Moore was born 1772 in Virginia. He raised a large family in Claiborne Co., TN, but I am having a terrible time finding him and the family he came from before he shows up in TN. Was the Jesse Moore you know about from a large family? Anything you could tell me about Moores in Caswell Co., NC. would indeed be greatly appreciated.
