James,Murphy/Murphey bn in NC died in South Carolina. Lived in Chester SC, married about 1797 to the daughter of Col,William,Thomas and wife JoHanna,____________. daughter Sarah,Jane,Thomas bn Feb,19,1776 SC Had one daughter. and Son,James,Murphy bn bt sept,22,1799 Chester co,SC This James,Murphey fits the Murphey's in Rowan Co,NC 1770's 1780's. I hired a researcher who found the marriage in probate records in SC but no one has offered anything till now. I am waiting for report from utah. My researcher believes this is one of the 5 sons to James,Murphey Who died 1781.SC. We are still checking though. And Will keep you posted here.
