Hello Rice Researchers, I an sending along copies of two postings from other sites which gave me pause for thought, since the Kerr name is found as a given name in my family of Rices from Thomas (CB) Rice of Hanover Co. VA and Caswell Co. NC. I am interested in knowing if any of you have run across similar early Rice/Kerr connections in your research. We still do not know the maiden or given names of Thomas' wife and mother. My strong feelings are that Thomas was a descendant of John Rice, so the first posting caught my attention. The second posting caught my attention because Thomas Rice of Caswell had a daughter named Lucy. If anyone knows of how these Rices mentioned below would fit into the Rice genealogy, that would also be a plus.
