I am a 40 year old African- American female. My father was Jamie Poteat born in Blanch N.C. in 1926. His father was Preston Poteat born around 1886 in Caswell Co. I don't know who my grandfather's parents were as this side of the family never knew much info. Preston married Willie Ann(Lea/Lee) Poteat and in addition to my father had several children(Roy , Jamie, Mattie Belle, Erma, Ulysses , Louis All deceased) Willie Ann's parents were Lewis/Louis Lea/Lee and Georgia Ann.
